Hey everyone! The Year of Titans might be done, but we are still looking into doing a hardcover version in the near future. As of now, if you find any issues with the Year of Titans, please let us know, as we are still updating the PDFs and Foundry modules as issues are found.
Otherwise, be on the lookout for news about an upcoming Year of Titans hardcover in the near future!

It's time for another Kraken update!
The Foundry module is here for PF2! If you backed the Foundry version, follow the same steps you used last time; you'll receive a Foundry VTT key.
Meanwhile, Stephen is actively laying out the 5e version. I saw new questions from him today, and it looks like he's getting close. Once he's done, which he tells me will be soon, the PDF for the 5e version will be available, followed by the 5e Foundry after that.
I'm looking forward to seeing what amazing stories you tell with Release the Kraken! Let me know in the comments here or in the Roll for Combat Discord, and I'll pass them on to the author (Linda) as well!

Releasing the Kraken!

The kraken is here! Stephen sent out the Pathfinder version of Release the Kraken! this past weekend! You should have received a notification that the adventure has been added to your BackerKit account. If not, just check out your account, and you should see a code to unlock both the Pathfinder 2e version of the adventure, along with the D&D 5E version.
However, do note that the Pathfinder 2e version is the only one ready and complete. The 5E version is in progress, so you'll only receive a pre-order PDF at this point. But once it's ready to go, we'll automatically send out the full 5E version as well!
Speaking of which, the 5e version is close. The backmatter is totally done, and the main adventure is mostly converted too. Then we'll give it another pass, lay it out, and copyfit it. The Foundry modules are continuing apace as well. We know many of you, especially on the Pathfinder side, will need to wait for the module before running the adventure, but they should arrive soon.
Given the winter holiday season, I find it's imprudent of me to expect a lot to happen at the end of December, so I'll make a prediction that we'll have the 5e PDF and the Foundry modules sometime in January or thereabouts. Though of course those involve other people than just Stephen and myself, and the unexpected might happen. We'll keep you in the loop if so.

Will-o’-wisps are ephemeral beings of air and light. Though they are best known from tales of haunted glowing motes leading marshland travelers to a watery doom, their true motivations are as numerous and varied as the stars in the sky.
The Year of Mysteries kicks off next month with Will-O'-Wisps! Will-o’-wisps are free-spirited and mysterious beings who pursue complex aims with unending fervor. They instinctively understand that, as beings powered in part by occult magic, maintaining a strong sense of self and purpose is vital to their continued existence. Will-o’-wisps who lose all motivation are at risk of dissipating entirely, their once-vivid lights fading into the mist. Yet even in despair, they burn with restless energy, always seeking a spark of meaning to rekindle their essence. If there is one fact that approaches a universal truth for will-o’-wisps, it’s that they resent being tied down by responsibilities they didn’t undertake willingly. Members of other ancestries might perceive will-o’-wisps as selfish or lazy for the lengths they’ll go to avoid being burdened by the weight of unwanted expectations. Alternatively, they might admire the determination and zeal with which will-o’-wisps pursue their passions. But to will-o’-wisps, these two behaviors are simply two sides of the same life-sustaining coin—a reflection of their unwavering devotion to personal freedom.

Ogres Are Here! Plus Titans Add Some New Art

This ogre lives by the sea and ate a bunch of aquatic creatures!
It's December, and between last week and the coming month, it's a common time for many of us to eat a lot. Ogres are right there with us chowing down! We went to the mythological wellspring for ogres and determined that... well, the main distinguishing feature they always shared was that they liked to eat. So we took that further with a new take on ogres who mutate and gain power based on the types of creatures they eat! Author Linda Zayas-Palmer added a fun and easy-to-use take on mutation feats based on the types of creatures the ogre devours. What will be your ogre's next meal?
As a reminder, the monthly PDFs are now available on battlezoo.com, rather than being issued directly from BackerKit digital downloads as they were in the first year. You'll be able to use a coupon for battlezoo.com and then receive all the PDFs there, and this now includes Titans too. Several backers asked me to repeat the instructions. If you have all the files so far, you can go to your account (click the silhouette of a person), and from there you'll see your order history. From there, you can click on the order (it'll be named RFC- and then some numbers), and at the bottom, it'll say "Download files from your orders." If you click the "Download" button below that, it'll pop up your files. Stephen also added a button you can click to show all your files; it says "View All Downloads" and appears just above your order history on the left side. This is helpful if you (like me) have several orders and you're not sure which is which, since it displays all your downloads at once, letting you search for the one you want or scroll down.
And one more thing! You've had titans since the beginning, but they are now fully added in with the others, since the non-backers have them too. While we were at it, we've added in some art from the Become a Titan backers to your digital assets (these backers could choose any ancestry, and we've seen several throughout the year, but given the name was Become a Titan... well, a lot of them chose Titan, so there's a bunch of new art).
